The floor

What every tier always includes

A senior US-based developer-of-record on your account — not a substituted junior.

Source code ownership, day one, in your GitHub.

Cloud infrastructure setup — you own the AWS/Vercel accounts.

Working software every week, deployed to staging.

60-day initial commit, then pause or cancel anytime with 14 days notice.

Async-first culture. We don't burn your day in standups.

No setup fee. No discovery-deliverable charge. Onboarding is included.

Out of scope

What no tier ever includes

So it’s clear up front — these are not absorbed silently into your retainer.

Hardware procurement, third-party SaaS subscriptions, paid API credits — passed through at cost.

Marketing copywriting, branding, illustration, logo design — we have a partner network we can refer.

Compliance certifications (SOC 2, HIPAA audits) — we'll build to the standard, but the audit itself is a separate engagement.

Anything off-scope — we'll quote it as an add-on, not eat it silently.

The math

What an in-house team actually costs

US median fully-loaded annual cost, 2026.

Role you’d otherwise hireMedian fully-loaded annual cost
Senior full-stack engineer$230,000
UX / Product designer$185,000
Project manager$165,000
QA engineer$145,000
Engineering manager (FT, fully loaded)$260,000
5-person product team, year one~$985,000
Parcel Atelier, year one$120,000

Salary medians from Glassdoor and Levels.fyi (May 2026), 1.4× loaded factor (benefits, payroll tax, equipment, overhead, recruiting).

Payment & pause

How billing and cancellation work

Billed monthly, on the 1st. First month prorated to start date.

Sixty-day initial commitment. After that, fourteen days written notice to pause or cancel — no exit fee.

Pause holds your slot for thirty days at prorated cost. Cancel ends the engagement; we hand off code, cloud accounts, and docs.

Anything outside your active initiatives is quoted as an add-on at $250/hr or added to your next initiative — no silent absorption.
